Awesome conclusion to this series ! A real page turner almost finished the whole thing in one night ! I needed to know if Allie was going to survive !

Meli is a new author for me and I have to say I really enjoyed this new series. It had tons of emotion and excitement, lots of story to tell, not only in the 3rd installment, but the whole series, 250 pages in the 3rd book, that's awesome!! I love a good long story!! I very much enjoyed reading this series, and read book 3 in less than 2 days, which can be a struggle with a crazy 4 year old running around. I would definitely recommend the story and look forward to more from Meli Raine!!

Thanks to the author I was allowed to read an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. This was a great conclusion to the series. There were some shockers in this book and a lot of questions answered. Twists and turns keeps you on your toes the whole time. I read the entire book in one sitting because I could not put it down. I highly recommend this series! It is a great love story with tons of mystery and intrigue. Five big stars!

Loved this series! I really liked Chase and Allie. She is a very strong character who survives a horrific experience but is able to come through it a stronger person. Chase has to make tough decisions to be able to save Allie. I couldn't put these books down, I was hooked and read all three in two days. Great job Meli Raine, I am looking forward to your next series. I was given an ARC for a fair and honest review.

I just could not wait to continue this outstanding story so I bought a copy the minute I finished the last page of book two even though I had an ARC coming. Book three begins where book two left off. I don't want to spoil the story so all I will say is Wow! This book took me on an emotional roller coaster! Heartbreaking. Heartwarming. Impassioned. It has been a very long time since I enjoyed a series of books this much--Cassia Leo's Shattered Hearts Series comes to mind. I have definitely found myself a new author.

Incredible! Meli Raine wrote about love, fear, and the truths that are sometimes hard topics to discuss. Allie and Chase are meant to be together but Chase's gang family has other ideas. Will Allie be saved? Find peace? Will Chase save her? A must read!

The final installing of the Breaking Away series is mind-blowingly phenomenal! The ways that the storyline played out was so far beyond anything that I ever imagined. What an extraordinary set of twists and turns we were graced with! I am still coming down off the high of this incredible journey of just how far love and hope can stretch when they are the only things we have left to cling to. Pure, timeless, and unforgettable are words that I would use to describe this amazing adventure! Allie has fallen into her worst nightmare ever. No matter where she looks all she see, feels, and hears is absolute pain and utter desperation. With all of the strength she has left she claws and fights everything around her to hold onto the last slice of hope and the thinnest shard of love in order to keep her from completely shattering. There is no light in her present darkness, and the longer she fights against it, the quicker it drags her down. Quietly and stubbornly, she races for answers and in their places finds even more of the ugliness and emptiness threatening to destroy her sanity and her heart forever. When the tiniest beam of light presents itself, she will risk everything to keep it with her. Are hope and love able to overcome even the worst of circumstances? Can a shattered heart keep beating and eventually dream of being whole again? My mind is still reeling from this final part of the story that is Allie and Chase. Unbelievable, painful, and outstanding keep popping up inside my head as descriptions. You can’t help but feel with this story. There is no part where you are able to stay hard and separated. Too much is happening, and there is no let up on the intensity or the amount of emotions that filter from the story into your heart. We all know that if Romeo and Juliet ever had a happy ending, it would not be easy and it would not be pain free. The Breaking Away series illustrates that point beautifully and flawlessly, but it also illuminates the fact that with love comes danger, pain, and vulnerability. However, it’s up to each of us to decide if the risks far outweigh the benefits. What is life if we don’t go outside of our comfort zones and dare to do what our heart longs for? True, we will come out different, but in the end, who we become is who we were always meant to be. The harder and more unforgiving the journey, the sweeter and more precious the reward will be. Meli Raine has continued to amaze and delight me with this beautifully raw story! Each part clearly shows that life is not easy, and we can’t always choose which way our life goes. What we can choose is how we face it and conquer our fears along the way. What we find at the end of our struggles will make the pain and the danger a fading memory and make everything look sharper, smell sweeter, and feel stronger. This is a wonderful series that fans of romantic suspense will not want to miss!
