Interesting story idea, though not very well proof read The grammar doesn't flow very well, at times changing tense in the same paragraph between present and past - better proof reading/editing could have tidied it up a lot and had the story rolling along As a free read it was fine, but I won't be buying the sequels because to pay 5.99 a book and have such sloppy writing interfering with the experience isn't worth it If the writing had been a bit tighter then yes it would have been a good trilogy to follow

I love Brian's books! The storyline within this book was perfect for me. I really like dungeon crawler books and this one is one of the best I have read.

Loved it. Two basic kids dreaming of magic and adventure ... find it. A quest starts in order to help their families, they pick up a thief, a Mage, make friends and enemies. Real old style party formation and dungeon crawling. Great read!
