Moon’s Law

A different take on werewolves. It was a nice twist to read & I appreciated that the author thought about it. It took a little bit to be drawn in, but after I got to the meat of the book it was hard to put down to sleep. *Disclaimer... That should say it all. But just in case it doesn't. One of her best books. Couldn't stop reading it. Can't wait for the next one.

Charlotte and Kane have been going thru a lot of changes since being bitten and turned into werewolves. They are still trying to get used to the changes and control the urges. Charlotte in particular is having quite a struggle and just wants to get enough control to go back to school. She is also still very angry about her fiance abandoning her and leaving her in an isolated area where she was bitten by the werewolf. Kane is the sheriff and is struggling to figure out how to mix his job with being a werewolf. He was known for one night stands and now realizes it might be dangerous to be with human women. Charlotte is not his usual type but that doesn't matter to his wolf. When Charlotte is threatened, Kane comes to her aid. They then realize all the werewolves are in jeopardy and they have to work together to protect their pact. Along with the serious danger, there is a funny sub-plot about Charlotte pretending to be an awful girlfriend so Kane's mother will get off his case about getting serious and having a family. It was a funny date night. I liked Charlotte and Kane and wanted them to find some happiness in the changes thrust upon them. Charlotte is still hurting and just looking for peace. The bite seems to have woken up Kane to wanting more out of life than endless hook-ups. They have a real concern for one another as well as great chemistry. The story moves quickly and leaves you wanting to learn more about these men and women facing this huge change in their lives. I received a copy in return for a honest review.

I received an ARC of this book and in return I give an honest review. I've read meany Michelle Fox books and honestly love them all, this one is no different, loved it too. Moon's Law is the second book in the New Moon Pask series. It can be read as a stand alone, but has so many great characters you'll want to read them all. It's a series that doesn't exactly follow the mold for other shifter series. The town of Glen Vines is where it takes place. Most of the characters are not born wolves, nor were they turned by choice. The newly formed pack is being lead and taught how to deal with their new furry sides by three brothers. As Charlotte and the sheriff try to get a grip on their animals, they also realize their feelings for one another. Before they can figure much out, hunters come into town trying to kill all shifters. It's an action packed romance, full of excitement and searing sexual tension guaranteed to get your blood pumping.

I recievd this book for free for an honest review. It was all I expected and more. Charlotte and Kane are definitly meant for each other. They are both struggling with being new werewolves which is a hallenge in itself add in getting shot at, developing feelings for each other and trying to fit in with the pack makes an exciting read. I would reccommend that you read the first book in the series as it is also a good book and tells thebeginning of the new pack.

Moon's Law picks-up after First Moon. If you haven't read that book, I would recommend reading prior, because it gives you some back history (but its not necessary). We are united with Tao and his brothers after the "new" pack has been created by his brother. The newly turned wolves are learning the werewolf way of life, which is not easy even with Tao and his brothers help. Charlotte is one of these new wolves. She was left by her ex right before she was bitten. She is struggling to not loose control of her wolf and turn at a moments notice. She runs into trouble and along comes Sheriff Kane to the rescue. He seems to be one of the few who can calm her wolf. There is an attraction there, but Charlotte is fighting the pull along with Kane. She believes she is not his type due to his player history. Can Charlotte resist Kane? Will they survive the Hunter? This was a great read. I can't wait to see what happens with Leo. I received this book in exchange for an honest review.

I enjoyed this book so much I could not put it down the night I was reading it I lost track of time and forgot to give my kids a bath and they went to bed late that night. If you like romance and shape shifters you can not go wrong with this book.

A totally excellent story! In this second book, about the new Glen Vine Pack, we have Kane and Charlotte. They are newly turned wolves who are very confused about becoming wolves and what to do from here on out. Charlotte overhears hunters/locals talking about killing the local wolves, she runs into Kane (literally) and together they protect their new pack while falling for each other. This was an awesome story full of drama, angst, new love and sexy times. A little different take on fated mates, since both were newly turned, but the pull was still there. Ms. Fox has done it again! I was given an ARC for an honest review. Highly Recommended!

Michelle takes us back to Glen Vine, where the unwillingly turned werewolves are struggling to find their place in the world. This story focuses on the budding attraction between Charlotte and Kane, as well as the growing pains suffered by the entire pack. As the natural werewolves try to guide the unwillingly turned through their day to day struggles, they are also trying to right past wrongs and work through new dangers. It's an exciting story, and I can't wait for the next installment! I received a free ARC for an honest review.
