Contrived, stereotypical characters ... Nonsensical plot ... The author does seem to have some writing skill, and I suspect others may enjoy it ... but I had to quit halfway through.

I just finished deadlock and now I'm hanging on a ledge. What? She screamed and that's the end? Where do I go? What's next? I have to wash clothes, but not until I find out. What's next. sooooohelp me find the next one. Been awhile since I stayed up till 1:30 to finished. I loved the first but this one I could not put down. The next I hope will be just as good.

Worth reading if you don't mind a predictable, go-through-the-numbers story. There are some interesting twists, but they mostly come from the "bad guys.". This is fine if you're stuck with nothing else to read or do.
