Pippa is a logical yet lively heroine and Cross is her exact match! Wonderful sparring and love scenes make this an exceptional read. Loved it!

I liked the story. The characters were great. Sometimes I felt as though things could have been made simpler or something. I would definitely recommend reading it though.

As I was with the first book of the series.

I was bored. Skipped quite a few chapters. Slow and no excitement to the story. Disappointed to say the least. Don’t know if I will read the rest of the series.

I loved the antics in this book. I won’t give anything away but how pippa handled knight was ingenious. I will be reading the next book in the series

I liked the love story part but felt other parts of the story did get their proper endings!

The hero's control is always "on it's very last thread", but he never topples over the edge. You'll hear that phrase at least 3 or 4 times before anything significant happens. The main characters are likeable and unique. It is nice to read a historical romance where a couple's intellect and wit are valued over their "unparalleled beauty". All in all, it is a decent novel.

I love this story! Pippa and Cross are my favorite. I love the problems they face and I feel connected to it. Very well written.

This book is very, very, very boring. The characters get very annoying and repetition doesn't seem to ever have an ending in this book.
