Good read!! Perfectly balanced story, with a captivating plot that doesn’t lose the romance! I enjoyed getting to know each character and can’t wait to read more!

This was so repetitive I had hard time getting through this.

All of the author’s heroines are strong, but Sesily is by far the most unconventional. She represents a type of modern woman I’ve never seen before in a regency romance. This is an adventure story that is not typical of the genre. In order to understand Sesily it might be helpful to start with the previous novels in the Scandal and Scoundrel series.

Bombshell—I adore Sarah’s heroines, BUT Sesily is my fav. Can’t wait, though, to get to know Adelaide!

This was not a historical romance. The verbiage was laughable. The actions of the heroine unbelievable for it’s time period. The writing was repetitive and boring. Done with this “historical” (ya right) author.

Less than halfway through this and I’ve completely lost interest. I don’t really know why. It wasn’t that riveting to begin with, but I had hoped it would get better. I might try to finish it later but after the Bareknuckle trilogy, this is just blah and uneventful.
