    I usually really enjoy Wilde’s books, but this one seemed to go on and on with unnecessary details, analogies, and rambling thoughts. There was very little action or conversation to keep me interested. Also, the continued use of the same word/ phrase three times in a row was a little annoying (Stop it. Stop it. Stop it.). However, I must say that the storyline is still intriguing enough that I’m tempted to give the second book a chance to see what happens. 🤞

    I love a good alpha male story but this is not it….Mason was too demeaning and the girl was too naive. I kept pushing through hoping it would get somewhere but it didn’t. Found myself getting frustrated while reading. No character development

    I was anxiously waiting for diving into Mason and Charlotte's story after reading the prequel and it was absolutely phenomenal . A brillant start of this new series and has me hooked to this series . A dark romance with Alpha hero seeking vengeance . Mason checks all the boxes . Charlotte is her innocent heroine her family business is at the brink of bankruptcy and she ends up being the innocent pawn in Masons plan for vengeance. The plot is captivating and I was hooked to the story and couldn't put it down. The story is full of intrigue and suspense and I cant wait for the next book . Definitely a must read
