Description

Brigit has lost everything. Her body. Her freedom. Maybe even her heart. The nightmare she tried to run from knocks at the front door. It hunts for her. She has no choice but to stay with Zeus. Her life depends on it. But his glittering lifestyle hides a lifetime of pain. She’s fallen for the man in his gilded cage, and he’ll never fall for her. The closer she gets, the more he pushes her away. Brigit wants more than survival now. She wants the one thing she might never win: his heart. Sweeter Than Sin is the second book in the Zeus trilogy. Richer Than God must be read first.

This is the second book in the series. The storyline is getting better and better between Zeus and Brit. The chemistry is WOW!! How they try to ignore their feelings for each other. Zeus try’s to present himself a certain way. But is that the real Zeus? Who is going after them? I can’t wait to read the final book.

This is a continuation of Zeus and Brigit’s story. It starts where Richer Than God left off and me seeing Zeus as the biggest a****** in the world. Brigit has been kidnapped and I have been waiting to see what happened. Now that I have read this, my mind is left spinning again. Amelia has me loving these updated stories of the Greek Gods. I am left wanting more and more and am always on the edge of my seat wondering what is going to happen next. The anticipation builds more and more while reading each book. You get to see a little more of who Zeus is and about what happened during his childhood. I loved seeing another certain God that I absolutely love. If you haven’t read the beginning of Zeus and Brigt’s story, grab Richer Than God and dive right in. I really need the next part of this story to see what happened. “It is a mistake to want me. It will always be a mistake to want me.”

In Richer than God, I really couldn’t pin down how I felt about Zeus. He was such a jerk and my feelings flip flopped on him. Now I can see the reason behind why he is the way he is. He’s still a jerk but you can see his softer side. There is more to him than meets the eye. I can’t wait to see what’s next.
