    The writing was good. But it was just another book that just stops. There are too many books that are stand alone to waste my time with unfinished story lines.

    I originally read Sunkissed Days by Samantha Chase when she shared it in her newsletter and loved it. It was sweet, charming and enchanting. Mallory Westbrook has crushed on Jake for so long, but he never saw her as more than a friend. So, when she visits her grandfather for his birthday, she is determined to have him finally see her. Jake never saw Mallory coming, much less finding himself kissing her. But Mallory is no longer the young girl he remembers, instead she is pulling all these unexpected feelings from him. Can he give in to temptation when she is the granddaughter of a man he respects and works for? I loved watching Jake and Mallory spend a summer exploring each other, but what will happen when the summer ends? They both have dreams they want to accomplish, can they do it together or will they be walking away from each other? Sunkissked Days by Samantha Chase was such a sweet read.     This prequel introduces us to Ms. Chase’s new Magnolia Sound series and what a wonderful introduction! It has ALL the emotional elements that make Ms Chase’s books so AMAZING!!! The characters tug on your heartstrings and are so relatable. We’ve all had that teenage crush so we can put ourselves in Mallory’s shoes when it comes to her feelings for Jake. Also her relationship with her great-grandfather really resonated with me as I spent all my summers with my grandparents growing up and they were some of the happiest times of my life. This is what makes Ms. Chase’s books so INCREDIBLE we invest in the characters because we can relate to them. I would definitely recommend this book and I am looking forward to the next book in this series. I was given an ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.

    This is the introduction to the Westbrooks of Magnolia Sound and specifically Jake and Mallory‘s relationship beginnings. This story was a little sexy, fun, flirty and romantic!! I fell in love with Pops! He reminded me of my own Granddad. The time that Mallory spends with him and the talks they have, touched my heart. I can’t wait to revisit the Westbrooks and Magnolia Sound again!

    Gah!!! What a fantastic introduction to this new series by Samantha Chase!! This story sucked me in from the start. The chemistry between Jake and Mallory was intense, and I loved the different sides they each brought out in the other. I loved being introduced to the family, and can’t wait to find out what Samantha has in mind for other characters (especially Mallory’s brother Sam). A perfect start to this new series I would highly recommend!!

    I LOVE new beginnings!!! And this is a new beginning for fans of Samantha Chase. Magnolia Sound is a small, coastal town and we meet several new families, including the Westbrooks and the Summerfords. More importantly, this is the beginning of the story of Mallory and Jake. In this prequel to her next novel, Remind Me, we meet a young Mallory Westbrook. She has crushed on Jake Summerford, the older neighbor boy, for years. Every summer when she visits her Pops, the attraction grows. But he only sees her as the “too young” sister of his friend. This summer, she is going to make him notice her. And does he ever!!! It’s a summer of young love and all of the excitement of a new relationship. But summer is coming to an end and decisions must be made. Can they survive a long distance relationship? Do they have more than a summer romance? This series tugs at my heart strings already. Ms. Chase does an excellent job setting up all the feels. The small coastal town and the long standing families and traditions are an awesome way to start a new favorite series!!! I can’t wait for the HEA!

    Full of warm, sexy and loving moments that made my heart soar and my body tingle. Samantha Chase takes us back in time to meet the Westbrook Family as they come together to honor and celebrate the patriarch Ezekiel Westbrook, “Pops” for his ninetieth birthday. As one of the original founders of Magnolia Sound most of the town is also included in the celebrations. I just really loved Pops, he is such a warm and wonderful character that everyone respects and looks up too. But the best part of this preview is the relationship between Jake Summerford and Mallory Westbrook. Mallory has had a crush on Jake for years but she totally captures his attention this summer. Their heartwarming coming together took me back in time, with all the feels and emotions of young, first love as well as the loss, emotions and heartache when everything doesn’t go as planned. So once again, as always in this prequel Samantha Chase manages to get inside my heart and soul. Staying there long after I’ve read the last page. I am anxiously awaiting the next book in this series, and I need it now!!! I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
