Description

A Sexy, Close Proximity, Secret, Office standalone Romance by New York Times bestselling author, Samantha Chase.

She's the darling ballerina of the renowned Montgomery's.

He's the sexy numbers nerd who works for her family.

Three years ago at a New Year's Eve party they had a moment and kissed at the stroke of midnight.

Now she's back and everything is…irresistibly complicated.

Lily Montgomery has danced her way through life, getting opportunities that few get, but that doesn't mean she hasn't earned every single one. But with a career-ending injury, she returns home to nurse her wounds and figure out what comes next. What she didn't expect was seeing the ruggedly handsome man she impulsively kissed three years ago and the simmering attraction that still burns between them.

Noah Wylder is committed to his five-year-plan – climbing the corporate ladder at Montgomerys. Three years ago, that plan almost got derailed thanks to an unexpected kiss with Lily. He's since put in the work to redeem himself and stay under the radar. When she suddenly reappears, he can't seem to escape her or the memory of their kiss. He knows in order to keep his job, he has to make sure he stays away from the alluring woman that's never left his mind.

When Lily comes to him needing his help in figuring out what is happening within the Montgomery family, sneaking around leads to heated glances and harmless kisses. Will they realize that the connection they share is real, lasting, and irresistible for either of them to resist?

Such a great love story. I’ve been waiting for Lily and Noah. Their story didn’t disappoint. I did think Lily was immature but I’m glad people called her on that so it became a nonissue. I teared up at the end with Simon’s speech.

This is a great story of two people that are such opposites you would never think of it working out for them. Lily is a professional dancer. It’s the only thing she’s ever wanted, even when an injury threatens to ruin it all for her she doesn’t give up. Noah is a numbers guy who has his future all planned out moving up the corporate ladder and nothings going to get in his way. How these two finally connect is what makes this a beautiful love story.

    * Slow burn * 2nd chance romance * Boss’s daughter * Small Town The love story is about Lily Montogmery and Noah Wylder. Lily is a dancer and had to move back home due to her injury. Noah works for Lily's family business. This was cute and fun story. Highly recommend.

Irresistible Love is the 1st book in the new series Wylder Love. If we remember we get an introduction to Lilly and Noah in A Merry Montgomery Christmas, three years prior to where they share a kiss. You don’t have to read that one to jump into their love story but it was a great read. I loved diving back into the Montgomery world with Lily. She’s a free spirit, dancer. Trying to chase the dream until reality sets in and an injury has her facing one of the biggest hurdles in her life. She’s lost and trying to find her identity. Noah was a numbers guy, this nerdy, lovable cinnamon roll Is completely opposite than Lily. We watch them try to navigate their way through a possible relationship, love and heartache. They had a lot of growing pains but the banter, push, pull and chemistry was sweet to read. Oh boy, William Montgomery always trying to protect his family all the way to the end. The magical matchmaker is a better name for him. Amy McFadden was the narrator on the story. She did a good job with the different characterizations. Kept me engaged in the story. Great read and listen

Irresistible Love is book 1 in the Wylder Love series by Samantha Chase and a beginning for Noah and Lily. 4.5 stars 3 yrs after their infamous kiss on NYE (A Merry Montgomery Christmas) Lily returns home after a dance injury only to run into Noah again. Sparks reignite, Noah wants Lily on so many levels but he doesn’t want to lose his job at the Montgomery family business and Lily has no idea what her future holds…do they get a second chance? Family secrets, heartbreaking news, matchmaking family, personality nail goals, and meeting the Wylder siblings too! I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy (ARC) of this book from Valentine PR. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
  • Entertaining second chance/forbidden romance

𝗜𝗿𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲 is the first book in the new Wylder Love series by Samantha Chase, featuring an entertaining second chance love story for Lily and Noah. Lily’s world is rocked when a devastating injury puts her dancing career on life support. Unable to decide what to do next, she heads for the comfort of home and family. What she finds though, are surprises and secrets on the Montgomery front, and Noah, the one man she hasn’t been able to get out of her mind since their impromptu New Year’s kiss three years ago. Noah’s priority might be his career, but when Lily needs his help figuring out what is going on in her family, he can’t resist his desire to be with her. Will they finally admit that the connection they have is an irresistible love, and not a passing fling? I’ve been excited to read this since I read the holiday novella that covered Lily and Noah’s previous kiss! I loved Noah in this, and could really relate to him on his insecurities, although he was a bit too much of a workaholic. Lily, though, was a tough sell for me. I wanted to love her, I mean, she’s a Montgomery and they’re fantastic, but she comes off as selfish and egotistical. I mean, if 4 medical specialists are telling you that you need a treatment, you should listen to them!🤦🏼‍♀️ Some of Lily and even William’s decisions shocked me. I much prefer people be honest with each other.🤷🏼‍♀️ The two of them did grow on me eventually.😉😍 Overall, there were plenty of compelling characters, witty banter, emotional moments, and sweet romance. I’m looking forward to seeing what the other Wylder bring! I listened to the audiobook narrated by Amy McFadden, and she did a great job bring both the male and female personalities to life, especially during the witty and emotional parts.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Perfect Second Generation

I am always a little leery of second generation books, because it’s a fine line between having parents be tough, and it being too much (and I end up hating characters I once loved). This one was great, though. Lucas was…Lucas lol. The star of this book is Noah, though. Lily is great, even when I wanted to shake some sense into her, but Noah…he’s as close to perfect without being too perfect as you can get! Highly recommend!
  • Emotional start to a new series

Four and a half stars IRRESISTIBLE LOVE is the first in Samantha Chase’s Wylder Brothers series, and also ties into her beloved Montgomery family. Noah Wylder is the quiet numbers guy, the steady boring one. Lily Montgomery is a dancer, and the life of the party. Their unexpected New Year’s kiss threw them both for a loop, and also, was pretty much unforgettable… Samantha Chase kicks off this new series with a bang, and Noah and Lily’s story is an emotional page-turner. Fans of the Montgomerys will get a chance to see some of them in action, though Lily and Noah’s story stands well alone. Loved seeing Noah’s brothers on the page, as well as Lily’s family. Can’t wait for more in this series!

I thoroughly enjoyed the push and pull between Noah and Lily, the feels were all there, loved Grandpa William and the Montgomery family and how they all come together in times of need…but…I have to be honest, I just could not connect with Lily and her brattiness. Hopefully we will see a difference in her in future books in the series.

Samantha Chase has done it again and has delivered another incredible romance with Irresistible Love, the first book in her new Wylder Love series. Samantha Chase has once again provided her readers with amazing characters. I love all the characters in Irresistible Love, they feel like family! Who does not love hot sexy men, strong, passionate females, and big loving families, who always support one another? I cannot wait to see how Samantha Chase makes her magic again and creates the "perfect" heroine, who is a strong woman on her own, to balance out the sexy, swoon worthy men. Samantha Chase continues to deliver all that and so much more. Samantha Chase has once again shown that she is an amazing storyteller and continues to be one of my favorite authors to read. Irresistible Love did not disappoint; it was impossible to put it down and I loved every moment on every page. My favorite part is how the title of the book and the photo on the cover are incorporated into the love story. I enjoy how Samantha Chase writes from the perspective of the characters. That way you get to know what is going on in their minds. Irresistible Love is a wonderful love story and is filled with heartbreaking and heartwarming moments. It is filled with all those things that I have come to love and expect in a Samantha Chase love story, especially the poignant and bittersweet moments that filled this page turner. Irresistible Love takes place three years after A Merry Montgomery Christmas. Both Lily, a dancer, and Noah Wylder, an employee of Montgomerys remember their New Year’s Eve kiss from three years ago that Lily initiated. I love that Noah feels like Lucas, Lily’s father, is not a fan of his because of the kiss. Lily always thought that she was not interested men, who wear suits, but after kissing Noah things have changed for her. Lily and Noah do not believe that they are interested in the same things. Lily wants to cross off the items on her bucker list and Noah wants to move us the corporate ladder at Montgomerys. William has sent his sons and their wives on a month-long Mediterranean cruise and has put Noah in charge of his sons’ major accounts while they are away. He also sent his wife away on a month-long European vacation. Lily is unaware that everyone is away. Lily injures her hip during a dance try out in Miami, and after doing physical therapy it is still not at one hundred percent. Surgery is the recommendation, but Lily is not interested in surgery. She heads home to North Carolina to rest, decide what to do and get a second opinion. She heads to her childhood home to discover her parents are away and they are renovating their house while they are away. She heads to her grandfather William’s home and surprises him. He tells her that she will need to stay in the guest house since he also is doing some renovations to his home. Lily heads to meet her grandfather at his office for lunch, but he avoids her. Lily sees him with another woman and is so confused. She runs into Noah outside the building, and they have lunch together. Lily keeps beckoning Noah for help to discover what is going on with Noah and this other woman. As Lily and Noah spend time together things quickly heat up between them. I love the easy banter of the conversations between them that flows so easily, I love that both Lily and Noah share secrets with one another that they have not shared with anyone before. Lily starts dancing for rehabilitation at the studio where she danced as a child, and I love the impact she has on the little dancers, but she is not ready to teach dance because there are too many items left on her bucket list that need to be checked off. Noah is bringing in new clients as well as maintaining the clients for the Montgomery sons. Each is working toward their personal goals. Then an unexpected plot twist changes things between them with Lily returning to Miami and Noah questioning his future at Montgomerys. I love all the heart-to-heart conversations that take place in the story. One of my favorite parts of their love story is the changes that Lily and Noah are willing to make in their lives to have a life with one another. I love the way that the Montgomerys embraced Noah like family and have rewarded him for his hard work. I love the characters and the family dynamic in Irresistible Love and catching up with the Montgomerys, the characters feel like family and friends. I also enjoyed all the interactions among the Wylder siblings it feels like real family love and makes me laugh at their teasing. Samantha Chase’s descriptions are so real. I love all the surprises that Samantha Chase has included in Irresistible Love. My favorite part in the book is the epilogue and how it wraps up all the details of the happily ever after, and it did not disappoint. Wonderful conclusion to their love story, I love Noah’s proposal and where it takes place. Irresistible Love contains all the elements that I have love most in a Samantha Chase story, romance, great characters and setting, bittersweet moments and the plot twist that ties it all together. Amazing story. I could not put it down. I am looking forward to reading the other books in the series. I love reading matchmaking love stories. Received an advanced copy from the author.
