Description

She’s running from a painful past. Can he catch her and help her heal?

Savannah Grace left her hometown after the traumatic death of her young brother ten years ago. Fresh out of high school, she trudged through life under a shroud of guilt and shame. She couldn’t face her family after what she did, and she knew she didn’t deserve happiness.

Quentin Elliott became a paramedic so he could save people. He hadn’t been able to help his high school girlfriend’s brother, but he vowed to prevent as many tragedies as possible. He managed to build a life without Savannah, but he never moved past her.

When Savannah returns to town in hopes of donating bone marrow to her estranged mother, Quentin knows he will only have a short time to help Savannah realize she should stay in Healing Springs. Where she belongs. With him.

Savannah prefers to lace up her running shoes, but Quentin is determined to create a treatment plan to help her settle in for the long haul.

Can a decade of pain be healed with a healthy dose of love? Or will Healing Springs fail to live up to its legendary name?

This book was cute, the story was interesting and sweet. I just couldn’t relate much with the characters. Maybe they lacked more background story, as I wished we had more flashback scenes with Quentin and Savannah as teens. Nonetheless, still a good read.

What a beautiful love story full of despair forgiveness and hard work getting to know each other and have patience with each other. To have the love of a man who would go to the ends of the world for the one he loves there is no end to what they can accomplish together.

I really enjoyed reading this touching story. There were certain parts that made me cry. I did not give it 5 stars because I felt the ending lacked a little more closure between the H and the h. There was happiness, but it needed a little more after such an emotional story. I still recommend reading the book.

This book had me laughing, smiling, blushing, and in tears. Well written, and very relatable! Such a sweet emotional journey, I felt like I was going on it myself.

This was a great read. I enjoyed reading it. The characters were well drawn out and the tribute to the main character's brother was very emotional. Brought tears to my eyes.
  • Emotional, well written, loved Quentin

Romance is my favorite genre to read, and this was unlike most other books in the genre. Well written and emotional, it tugs at your heart strings and makes you ache for the pain the main character experiences. There were times where I wished I were her best friend so I could climb into the book to hug her. She had a trauma occur when she was a teenager and she never healed or recovered from it. That said, there were some funny moments, too, so though the book made me cry a few times, it wasn’t depressing.a Oh man, can I just say that Quentin is the most delicious character I’ve read about in a long time? He’s a single daddy (and his cute son nearly steals the show in many scenes.) He has loved Savanna since high school and has never really moved on. When she returns to their small town, he decides he will stop at nothing to convince her to stay. He helps her heal and realize that what happened 10 years ago was not her fault. The sexual tension leaps off the page, but the sex scenes are not overly descriptive or graphic. Very tender. Hot, but not pornographic or anything. I loved exploring the family dynamics and the emotional journey this story brought me on. I almost didn’t read it because it was free and I haven’t had the best luck with free books, but this was well written and so worth the read. I plan to purchase the whole series because I loved the author’s style. Give it a try, I think you’ll like it. The secondary characters were fun, especially Miss Molly. Oh, cute dog, too!

The book was ok, it got boring after a while with the main character cause she's selfish, whiny and stupid. It's a slow read throughout the book. Could've been better.
