He is a newcomer to this forest who meets Sammy Jay, Jerry Muskrat, Old Man Coyote and all the other animals living in the forest. Upon his arrival, Sammy Jay starts complaining that he is cutting the trees. After that, Old Man Coyote finds Paddy Beaver in the forest and start hunting him. After unsuccessful hunting him for three days, the Old Man Coyote almost captures Paddy Beaver but Sammy Jay saves him by telling him to go into the water. After this event, Paddy Beaver and Sammy Jay become best friends.
Through this story we follow the life of Paddy Beaver and his daily adventures. We learn about the way Paddy builds his house and his dam, how he stores the food. Also, we learn some lessons about life, like carrying for Nature, planning before doing things, trusting people, etc.
With the clear words used here and the descriptive language, readers can feel like they are par the story and share Paddy’s adventures.
