Action, intrigue, and romance to swoon for!

With graduation just weeks away, guardian trainee Violet Fairdale is determined to claim the top spot in her class. But first, she’ll have to survive her final assignment—and the guy she’s been forced to partner with.

Her confusing feelings for Ryn aren’t the only thing making life difficult, though. With enchanted storms wreaking havoc in the fae realm, a murder within the Guild, and an Unseelie prince still determined to possess Vi’s special magic, graduation is about to become the least of her problems.

Oh my goodness, this series just keeps getting better! Tons of fast-paced excitement, two people that you just cannot help but want them to be together, and lots of drama and suspense! I think this is my favourite book in the series. The excitement of the guardian graduation, all the secrets (the secrets, man!), and the shock of that ending! Rachel has mastered the art of writing vivid scenery! The scenes at the Seelie Court just sound so beautiful and magical and I felt like I was really there! But oh, my heart. So many FEELS. Ryn and Violet, just, yes. Yes. Please. And then all the things happen, and so many happy feelings, and then so many UNhappy feelings and sadness and AH. I love it when books can make me feel so many emotions! And I also hate it, because my heart cannot handle this. Another five stars for the second book in the Creepy Hollow Series! Highly, HIGHLY recommend!

This is the second book of the series and continues our introduction into a new world of fairies and magic. Violet is your navigator into this world and is a very complicated young woman. When we first meet her, she is just finishing her training to become a Guardian. Guardians are trained fairies who are the police so to speak of the fairy world. They are sent to protect humans from fairies and other supernaturals. She has lost both her parents who were also Guardians and is determined to be first in her class. She has totally focused on school and has not had any romantic relationships and is very protective about letting other people into her life. One assignment during that final week dramatically changes her life as well as the life of all of those in the fairy realm. The assignment to protect a human does not go the way she expects and it threatens the success she has worked so hard for as well as her heart. In the second book, she has to re-examine her feelings about people in her life. Her final assignment puts her into a lot of danger. She directly takes on beings in the world that are much more powerful. I had not read any previous books by Rachel Morgan until this series and was totally thrilled with this journey. There are lots of surprises in store for the reader and it is like nothing I have read before. If you like an imaginative storyline with characters that invoke strong emotions, definitely read this collection. I have a new favorite author. I received a copy from the author in return for a honest review.

The Faerie Prince takes us back to Creepy Hollow for the continuation of Violet’s story, from her last trainee mission to graduation and beyond. I must say this book series continues to surprise me at every turn. I’ll try to keep this review spoiler-free, which is very challenging. Violet is paired up with Ryn for her final mission before graduation and their more-than-friends relationship develops really nicely from there. All his romantic gestures throughout the book are very swoon-worthy and managed to win me over completely. Nate, who I didn’t trust from the beginning of book one, turned out even worse than I imagined in this story, to be honest, especially considering what happens in the very end of the book. This book contains a major cliffhanger at the end, so beware of that, if it’s not your thing. I must say the only reason I’m not mad about that is because I already have book three lined up on my kindle. In my opinion, The Faerie Prince was even better than The Faerie Guardian.
