Description

A mysterious bookstore, a quirky cat, and a ghostly great-aunt—Darcy Sweet's life is anything but ordinary.

Darcy Sweet loves her cozy life running the Sweet Read bookstore, but "ordinary" isn't quite the word to describe her. With a knack for connecting with the other side, she's often drawn into more mysteries than she'd like.

When Darcy stumbles upon the body of her murdered neighbor, she wants to leave the investigation to the police—especially since her sister is one of them. But a whispered conversation, a nudge from the beyond, and the mischievous antics of her slightly psychic cat make it impossible to stay away.

As the killer strikes again, Darcy's world turns even more dangerous. Her growing attraction to her sister's new partner—a skeptical detective who doesn't appreciate her interference—adds sparks to an already heated investigation. With a town full of secrets, suspects, and spirits, can Darcy uncover the truth before she becomes the next target?

If you love paranormal cozy mysteries, with a touch of romance and family, you'll love the Darcy Sweet Cozy Mystery series!

Entertaining book but the cats point of view was cringe and unnecessary.

Interesting light mystery. Easy to read. Keeps you interested without being boring. The main characters Darcy and Smudge (the cat) are believable and keep your interest throughout. The end of the book is from the cat’s prospective and something different. If you are looking for an easy entertaining read this is it. I will read more from this author.

This book is the perfect book to read during lunch breaks. The story moves very quickly in a short amount of time. No boring parts. It was a great mystery. My only qualm was the ending seemed rushed.

Very enjoyable, not too light and not full of gory. Held my attention to the end.

A quick and enjoyable read. Good character descriptions, nice depictions of the town and its residents. Fun from start to finish and a simmering romance for added interest. Look forward to more from this author.
