A Briefe and True Report of the New Found Land of Virginia

This reprinting of the 1588 account of Virginia maintains the original typeset and font. Hariot joined Sir Walter Raleigh on his expedition in the New World and served as an interpreter with the local Algonquin tribe. His report focuses on the local tribes, their crops, agriculture, politics and religion; it helped spur interest and investment in a Virginia settlement.
