Written by explorer Dr. David Livingstone and his brother, Charles, Narrative of an Expedition to the Zambesi and Its Tributaries details the discovery of Lake Shirwa in Malawi and Lake Nyassa (now known as Lake Malawi), the southernmost lake in the East African Rift system. This volume includes maps and illustrations of the region and is one of the few complete volumes published by David Livingstone.
