I cannot imagine in my wildest dream how this little boy could survive this terrible trauma. Great story and book.

The first non-Christian book I have read in a long time! I couldn't put down this book. Very emotional as well as intriguing. I normally will read a book in a month😳. I read this book in 4days; playing wife and Mommy at the same time🤔🤔

The book is always better than the movie isn't it? Amazing moving story that will definitely bring you to tears. Of course it makes you wonder how many thousands of other children across the world share a similar story but without the happy ending. My prayers go out to them.

This story has gripped me and enslaved me, I could not put the book down, I read it in 3 days (a new record) it has engulfed me with emotions of both despair and hope. This book has done a number on me. What a great unique story of survival, this book was so well written it flows like a river

What a wonderful and remarkable story all in one. I absolutely couldn't put it down. I read it in two nights. Watch the movie, Lion, and read the book both. This is an inspirational story that will keep you entranced with curiosity and wonder.

My mother is from MP (Indore), as are the parents of countless friends and cousins. Therein lies a special inclination to read this memoir. It is simplistically rendered and easy to follow. What I find most astounding is the recollection that the 5 year old Saroo was able to preserve and put to purposeful use two decades later. Without memories of waterways, winding streets and meager landmarks, coupled with 21st century social media and Google Earth, this young man would never have found his “long way home.” Incredible. Truly Incredible.
