E-SAKUGA Totto-Chan the Movie

The film Totto-chan: The Little Girl at the Window, released in December 2023, is the first animated film adaptation of the autobiographical essay of the same name, which depicts the childhood of Tetsuko Kuroyanagi—an actress, a very famous talk show host in Japan, essayist, and UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador.

The animation film was directed by Shinnosuke Yakuwa, featured Character Design and Chief Animation Direction by Shizue Kaneko, and was produced by Shin-Ei Animation.
