Phew! What a roller coaster this one was! And I loved every minute. This story was morally gray, dirty, and downright amazing. Nico is such a good mafia man. Protective, harsh when needed, and so not wanting to be vulnerable but unable to resist Serenity. Serenity is such a strong female. She’s truly been through a lot and always kept her perspective. I love how she very much was a match and equal for Nico. Characters were amazing, both side and main, and I can’t wait for more books so I can learn more about them! Just please check trigger warnings for this book. It won’t be for everyone. I did receive an ARC from Booksprout and this is my honest opinion.
