Description

My sole focus for the last twenty-five years has been taking care of my brothers, and building a strong, unbreakable family.

Now they’ve all found the women they want to spend their life with.

I should be thrilled. It’s exactly what I wanted.

Except it’s exposed the big gaping hole in my life.
The same hole I put there twenty-five years ago when I destroyed the love of my life.

I blew things up. It doesn’t matter why I did it, the end result is the same. She hates me and always will.
I can’t even blame her.

But I’ve never forgotten her, and in the time we’ve been apart I’ve only grown more certain.
She’s it for me.

I’m always the man with the plan. I’m the big picture guy.

But when I jump in my car and end up in her small town, the only plan I can come back with is:
Get Blair Back. No Matter What.

Now I just have to hope that she doesn’t beat me to death with a wrench before I can apologize.

  • I cried a lot reading this book!

Sometimes? You just have to cry. Hard choices are bad enough, but when you never really move on? What’s a guy to do? A singing telegram later, and he’s on his way home to finally deal with Her! Like her father, the man who taught him how to live again, asked him to. The finally of the Brash bothers is an emotional rollercoaster. But too good to miss! All the mischief and chaos of a bunch of over grown, under mature, billionaires comes to head in this amazing book!
  • Great Ending to the Series

Ransom and Blair’s story was perfect for them. Such fun reading and rereading this series. I came to this series late but every book was so terrific I ended up purchasing them rather than wait in line for my library’s copy to be available. Having several chapters written from the view of family other than Ransom and Blair was a real added treat.
  • Love!

Going into reading this I was both terrified and excited. I am not someone who does well with “endings”, especially not when things I love end. I have absolutely fallen in love with these brothers and their antics and I was scared for it to be over. However, my excitement to read about Ransom and learn more about this “big picture” planner and see him get his own happily ever after overcame my anxiety (which is not easy to do). This book met and surpassed all of my expectations. I loved reading about Ransom’s past after getting breadcrumbs in previous books. This story made me laugh and cry and gave so much context for the rest of the series. It was a treat reading a book that made me feel so many things. After reading nine other books by this author I trusted that the characters and their lives were in good hands. I cannot to read more of her books as soon as they come out. Not only that, but the series was finished in a way that makes me want to dive right back in and reread the rest of the series (for the fourth time) now that I have more background for the unofficial “dad” of the group. I highly recommend this book, but I also recommend that you start this series from the beginning so that you get to fall in love with each of the brothers and gain a deeper understanding for how they all fit perfectly together.
  • So glad to see Ransom’s happiness!

Ransom has been something of an enigma throughout the series- supporting and wise but somehow aloof. It’s nice to finally hear his inner thoughts and learn about the mysterious past that has clearly haunted him throughout the series. When I read the sneak peek and met Blair, I was worried Jenna had planned someone untouchable and unkind for Ransom- but I shouldn’t have worried! I love Blair, and I love that she knows Ransom separate from his all-knowing caretaker persona. It was a very sweet read that I thoroughly enjoyed. I docked a star only because the beginning seemed a little rushed and because there were a number of typos that took me out of the moment at times. Otherwise, gold star!
