Disappointed

Very disappointing. Once again…way too many people and storylines. I spent most of my time skimming than reading. Sherlock and Savich are my favorite characters, but there’s always 2-4 other stories that takes the focus away from them. There were so many characters, I couldn’t keep up. I am by no means a writer( someday), but I am an experienced reader who’s read every book in this series and noticed that Ms. Coulter’s writing style has definitely changed…and not for the better.

Th is is one of the more disappointing books I have struggled through lately. Like Stuart Woods, James Patterson and several others the author here has begun to mail it in, believing that people will continue to pay an inflated price for poor storylines and comic book characters. Don’t waste your money instead invested in reading or rereading, James Lee, Burke, Daniel Silva, Lee Childs, John Sandford, and Ian Rankin. And don’t forget Slough House, by Mick Herron, and Joe Pickett by C. J. Box. There is a good reason they have been made into a series. Maybe you’ll get a Freedom Arms .454 Casul like Nate.

Didn’t love the “psychic” children which was very unrealistic and unnecessary
Excellent as always

Another winner for me! I love how Catherine pulls other books together, I love the relationships, all of it. It’s nice to have such beautiful relationships come to life in the pages. In this world today, it’s nice to imagine people actually care for one another so deeply.
Thank you for sharing your wonderful gift with us Catherine. God bless you always.
Fantastic page turner

I’ve read a number of books in this series, and this one falls short on all levels. The story lines are disconnected, disjointed, and not remotely believable. There’s no depth to the characters and dialog between the characters doesn’t feel natural - no one talks like that….
Points are repetitive - it feels as if there was an expectation of a certain page count but the author didn’t know how to fill the pages because the stories were flat. None of the characters were developed enough to be relatable. I kept hoping that I’d get to a point of not wanting to put this book down, but I just got to a point where I wanted it to be over.
I loved this book

Catherine Coulter never misses! I’m going to be so sad if this is the last book for Savich, Sherlock, Sean and Felicity. What a great family!
