This is my favorite Doc Ford novel in many years. I couldn’t put it down. Having just experienced Hurricane Ian firsthand, this novel resonated. Very well written.

It doesn’t work well as a stand alone. I found it very confusing, and at other times I was completely lost. Other than that, it was only an ok plot. Too unrealistic.
