    I love Lori Foster’s ability to include wonderful animals. This book has a good amount of steam! I really struggled with this book though. Normally I am sucked right into the story and crave so much more when it’s over but I had to force myself to finish this one. The HEA was wonderful and their relationship was the best part of it all. But understanding who they were and what their backstory is, was a bit difficult to grasp. Still one of the best authors out there, this just wasn’t one of my favorites!

    Dark……suspenseful….a bit like the underbelly of life. Lori Foster makes her stories come to life in a fantastic way. We get to see a bit of the McKenzies again whole meeting some fantastic new characters. Memphis is working on a big deal when Diah pushes her way into his world. Their road to a HEA is bumpy and slow to trust but it sure is fun to read.

    Diah is desperate for not only a job but to find the clue that will let her live her life without fear. Memphis is setting up the campground to draw out unsavory characters. Meeting Diah was the one thing he didn’t plan on. I loved how patient he was with Diah and showed Diah she could trust him. The twists and turns kept me so captivated! Read it!!

    The story of Jedediah (Diah) and Memhis is one that grabbed me from the start and kept me reeled in and engaged the whole way through. Diah is who I want to be one day: strong, even though she’s scared, and determined to see things through til the end, no matter how hard the situation gets. Memphis is the kind of man women want to be with: strong, confident and willing to do what’s necessary for the woman that he cares about. This is another well-written story by Lori Foster!

    A fascinating story with the other Osborn brother, Memphis. He is probably one of the most patient and seemingly laid back male character that I’ve read in awhile. But, given the right circumstance, he’s just as tough and protective as his brother. When Diah arrives to get a job at his newly acquired campground, he’s sure that there is more to her story than what she says, but he wants her to trust him enough to tell him her story on her own. He, also, has his own secrets regarding his agenda for the campground. It was a pleasure to revisit old friends such as: Hunter, Jodi, Remmy, and Madison.

    Memphis and Diah were fun to watch navigate each other. Diah is so use to being alone and taking care of herself and Memphis has that protective gene that won’t allow him to leave her unsafe. As they navigate the camp grounds and build trust they find that they may have a common goal. As they both keep secrets, they find it helps to have friends. This a great story and love hearing about the friends we have made in previous stories. Lori Foster once again gave us a winner!!!!

    Diah is fearless but so is Memphis. They were made for each other. It’s a very entertaining read, funny, steamy and intriguing.
