I will never pray the same. Mark Batterson has a keen insight into the regimen of prayer. Now I pray knowing that God wants to bless His children and that nothing pleases Him more! As simple as that sounds it never really hit home until reading Circle Maker! I am now reading it through a second time, reading my highlights from the first reading which is 60% of the book! It is now a part of my daily routine. I even threw away the game apps on my phone and now read it every chance I get which is several times a day. His promises carry me through. God is so good! Thank you pastor Batterson! I hope to visit your church one day soon!

I recommend you all to read this book. It's definitely refreshing to have a better understanding on this walk and work with God. This has been a great book to read.

A practical guide to prayer. Before I started reading this book, I felt overwhelmed by Prayer. Like I had to pray for everyone and their mom. But this book taught me how to focus my prayers and gave me practical ways to do so. I also felt, before reading this book, that asking God for the BIG things was too much. That maybe I should quietly say it and then hope God does it. But again, this book challenged me. And helped me see that God honors the prayers that scare me. And he wants me to pray those kinds of prayers. My life will never be the same after this book.
