Rafael sabatini has yet again amazed me with his brilliant display of naval knowledge and immaculate storytelling, the plot unravels itself masterfully page by page, this novel will have you turn page after page, quite frankly I read through this wonderful piece of storytelling in one sitting!

Beautiful prose, a genuine insight into human nature and an engaging plot with lots of twists and turns - among Sabatini's best works!
