In all of George Macdonald books, there are spiritual truths awaiting to be discovered. There are many sentences and passages I found myself highlighting in this book. Let the reader take there time and digest this story.

Never before have I been so prepared for the passing from this realm to the next then after reading this book. Every book I read of George MacDonald, fantasy or novel is a personal and spiritual revelation to me. I agree with the first review, “a must read.”
