Very slow. Took 3/4 of book to get interesting. Tomlinson keeps bringing up his junk...again. Fat shaming and unrealistic leaps of logic permeate the work.

I never thought a RWW novel would get me crying, but this one, The Mangrove Coast, really got to me! Very emotional and very touching, just proves how a man can be both a crusading warrior AND emotionally available, wow.

I really like Randy Wayne White, but I think he crosses a few lines in this book in terms of what you can do you your readers as an author. I will continue reading his books, but this one in particular left me feeling very unsettled.
