He could see the horror in Shannon's eyes. It was only the beginning...

This book was really well written, few typos. Great complex story, but a little too much for me. Enjoy it if you want to stay awake. It will get your blood moving.

  • Pretty bad

The author needs to listen t the dialogue. Most of it sounds like it came from cops and robbers movies of the 50s. Just awful. The characters are about the same vintage. And everyone whining about the heat and sweating got ridiculous. When they complained about it being 82 in July, I had to start skimming. The a news reporter asked another reporter, “what you got?” Seriously? No educated tv personality would speak like that. More skimming. If you want to actually read a book, take a hard pass on this author and novel. Your time is too precious.

I was up late multiple nights so intrigued with the twist in the book. This isn’t usually my type of book, but it sounded good. It definitely came through. A must read.
