This is a horrible BBQ book. It includes recipes for Rib Eye Steak (Rib eye steak, salt and pepper), baked potato (poke with holes and bake). The beef ribs recipe has you cook in a smoker, then place on the grill. That might be fine for a business, but I don't know any backyard BBQ'ers that want to fire up a grill and a smoker for ribs. You can cook ribs on one or the other. How about a recipe for that? And how can any Texas Backyard grilling enthusiast actually recommend a propane gas grill or smoker! Cooking with gas is using a stove outside. No skill, and very little flavor. This is a poorly written book that does not address the backyard, weekend cook. There is no discussion for techniques and tips for grilling using charcoal, and many of the recipes are written for gas grills (preheat grill to high).
