I love this series. Janette oak is an amazing writer. You get this since of assurance that it’s going to be complaining interesting whatever the event is. And there is nothing to unnecessary...as in when someone dies the writer does it in a way where your not devastated like some other books I’ve read. I’ve learned so much about life and God from this series. That’s my favorite part about them. As a believer I love it when Elizabeth or Christine had a worry she would always go pray. That’s so encouraging to me. And I know I need to do the same thing so this was very very helpful to me. The times when they’d go to God and His word and prayer when looking for answers or in need was so nice to see I just absolutely and thoroughly enjoyed every bit of this series.

What an amazing book! I enjoyed every book in this series and wish Mrs. Oke would continue with these characters! I must admit I loved the North books but these last two books helped me to realize that as long as Janette Oke is the author, I am ready to explore all of her other works. Such a feel good series. Each night after reading until my eyes were too heavy to go on, I would smile and feel a sense of peace come over me as I fell asleep. What a gift!
