Great read. One of Greg Iles’ best

This book reads like an apology for middle aged men sleeping with teenagers. “But she was hyper sexual. She was witty beyond her years. She wanted it. I saw photos of them screwing and it looked like real love.” WTH.

Could not put this book down!

Natchez Mississippi, a town that has had a past with highs and lows over the years dating back before the Civil War is now rocked to its knees with the murder of Kate Townsend, the senior class valedictorian and the lover of Drew Elliot a pillar of the community, a highly respected doctor and Penn Cages oldest and dearest childhood friends. Drew is being charged for her murder. What ensues is a twisted tale of intrigue, betrayal and civic responsibility. An excellent read!!! Enjoyed immensely !! My highest recommendation!!

by Greg Iles! After he sets up the story in the first chapter, many layers are woven in between the pages. Impossible to put down and intriguing to the end, this novel will keep you guessing….

This is my second book by Mr. Iles and I’m dumbfounded that he is not more well known. Do yourself a favor…read the book!

Suspenseful to the end! I’m ready for the next Penn Cage novel!

Excellent storyline, great characters, a real page turner. I'm a big Patterson fan, but I've found my new dude! Loved this book!!
