Description

The Book of Mormon is a sacred text of the Latter Day Saint movement. It was first published in March 1830 by Joseph Smith, Jr. as The Book of Mormon: An Account Written by the Hand of Mormon upon Plates Taken from the Plates of Nephi. According to Smith, the book was originally written in otherwise unknown characters referred to as "reformed Egyptian" on golden plates that he discovered in 1823 and then translated. The plates, Smith said, had been buried in a hill near his home in Manchester, New York, where he found them by the guidance of an angel, a resurrected ancient American prophet-historian named Moroni.

Hey if you don't think that this book is the "most correct book on earth and that a man can get closer to god by abiding it's precepts then by any other book" then you should try reading this book, it is so true! Stuff like this just doesn't happen without God.

Tell me how an adult can translate reformed ancient Egyptian to English. It can't be done without the hand of god. Also, the church of Jesus Christ of latter-day saints is true and has many of the same beliefs as other Christian churches, and if you take the time to listen to the lessons they offer you will begin to make sense and fit together. Give them a chance. Seriously.

Anti is a sign of the truthfulness of this book. There is opposition usually only against things that are right and true. This is true!!

  • Better than free version

The free version shows the chapter name and number before each verse which wastes space. This version doesn't and it doesn't have table of content issues either. This is a more convenient version to read.
