Did anyone know that Modest Mouse has a song about Bukowski? It's a pretty funny song. I love Bukowski's sick and twisted stories.

I just installed iBooks and this will be one of my first purchases. South of No North has to be some of Buk's best and funniest work. I've read a good chunk of his writings. His short stories are what introduced me to his work and are still my favorites. Dark, dry, sarcastic, and effing hilarious. His ability to develop and portray a character in three pages is ridiculous. A must buy if you've never read his work.
