I really loved this book! Although predictable, it was written with such prose that I felt like I was on the farm.

I loved this story, I read the entire book in one day. I usually read mysteries or thrillers but I read the sample for this book and couldn't put it down. This book has mystery, life, death and romance all. It was one of the best books I have read in a while. Definitely 5 stars.

While not a deep story, it was well written and kept me interested and engaged in the characters. I highly recommend it.

I loved this book and couldn't put it down. I love the rich descriptions of growing up on a working farm. I loved the simple choices of the simpler times. I loved that all the issues that modern families face were addressed by women who often had no way to deal than to just accept . I love the inner strength of the women in the book. I love the discovery of drugs, sex, and rock n roll. Nothing was left out. The journey from what we were to what we are wrapped in a story of how a family farm that had always been debt free could turn into burden that threatens to bankrupt a family. I loved that family is often not what you expect it to be,but if you open your eyes you may find the reasons behind choices of family is totally different than they appear on the surface. The good daughters were good daughters.
