You betta werk! RuPaul, what can I say about him that he doesn't say himself. After watching RuPaul's Drag Race and getting to know who RuPaul is through all of those seasons and the community he is in and all those courageous queens, after being completely enamored after listening to his podcasts and now after finishing this book, I am even more confident and humbled that this man is the real deal. A real man and by saying that I mean a R-E-A-L human. Compassionate and kind, but not cowardly to not tell someone what they need to hear, RuPaul is the cultural anthropologically realized being people need to see when it comes to navigating life in the most selfish and self-less way. You look out for you and do not allow toxic people to bring you down but your lens is one that recognizes the good in people and those vampires that just take, take, take are only weak and unrealizing. His reflections and advice are so simple, but when fully accepted, are game CHANGERS. We can all be better people, to ourselves and one another, by looking at RuPaul. Thank you thank you thank you, for validating my own realizations and also setting the bar higher so I can keep climbing towards my own dreams and know I can do it, and be famous (maybe and probably not but at least happy) and not have to compromise how I interact with people and the world. You are so beautiful, inside and out, and I feel more beautiful and as a stronger woman looking to you. Get Seaon 9 working faster, can't wait to see! I love you RuPaul!

I have LOVED RuPaul since my very young self first set eyes on him back when he told me to "do your thing, on the runway!" I was captivated by his look and his sound and just wanted to BE him/her! I've followed RuPaul's career for the past 20+ years yet I never really knew much about his past. Workin' It! Is a beautiful book that is part memoir part how-to manual on fabulousness and learning about oneself. It's simply astounding how confident a person will feel after poring through this work! I could talk about the greatness of RuPaul until my face turned blue so, without going much further, I'm just going to close with my FAVORITE RuPaul quote: "If you can't love yourself, how the hell are you gonna love someone else?!" Amen Ru!

I define myself as a very metrosexual man that prides myself on my appearance and deportment. The knowledge, honest candor ad festive stoires that Rupaul writes about is so enjoyable and fun! I really enjoyed reading this book! I have been going through a lot of hard times and when Rupaul wrote about not being that scared little boy I immediately had an "AHA moment!" Thank you Rupaul I appreciate your talents greatly.
