I miss the mystery solver! The lastfew have been fragmented and only about sex. I miss the good old days when the books had a plot, a mystery to solve and a lead to the next book. Im getting bored :(
  • Frustrating, too weird and should I ever buy another?

I've read every book before this and still enjoy the characters but I'm getting very bored with the plots. It is like each subsequent book is trying to outdo the predecessor on how strange the sex can be and to what new extreme Anita can go to. It feels like trashy almost porn anymore. I'm tired of it. I miss the strange monsters she used to encounter and the tales of her work not her sex and relationships being the only topic for the book. I'm torn between hope that this POS was just a stop gap between the original works and what is available after this. Is it worth my time or $ on these anymore? If the series is done ... Let it be done and not drag into a twisted mutilated sloooooooow death!
