If you are looking for a basic background knowledge of Scotland presented in a lass dry format, you found it. Review for audiobook format: I found this audiobook history of Scotland to be an interesting and very soothing listen. The material history was presented in an engaging way. The narrator has a very soothing cadence, allowing me to relax. This made the history of the clans and progression into more modern times exactly what I wanted for the purpose I had in mind.
