I am so in love with this series! It just gets better and better with each book. The character of Luke, though… He just has a special place in my heart. When we were reintroduced to his character in Love You Right, my heart just broke for that man. And it was so obvious just in the snippets of time we had with him in that book that he was a man in tremendous pain who was doing everything he could just to get through each day and to be present for his daughter. I knew his book was going to be something special, and I was right. This book is deep and emotional and heart wrenching at times, but also hopeful and sweet and really freaking funny—pretty much everything we’ve come to expect from a Julia Kent book. From the insanely hilarious meet cute to the totally endearing HEA, this story moves you. The characters move you. Their relationships move you. Heck, even the backdrop of the story moves you. The worldbuilding in this book is so exquisite that the town of Love You, Maine is a character in and of itself—one that changes and grows with each book just like the other characters. I have to tell you, I grew up in a small town… and I kind of hated it. But I have fallen in love with this charming little town, ironically for many of the same reasons I hated the small town I grew up in. Such is the magic of Julia Kent. She just has a way of effortlessly engaging your heart in every story she writes—taking you through the full spectrum of emotions. And you happily go along for the ride. Luke and Kylie’s second-chance romance is touching and poignant and deeply satisfying. The main characters, as well as all of the supporting characters, are nuanced and layered and very real. I really can’t recommend this book and this series highly enough. It is truly romantic comedy at its finest.

Loved Luke's book. Great characters and laugh out loud situations. Can never go wrong with one of Julia's books. I love this new world she's created!

Luke Luview and Kylie Hood have a history together—one historic kiss on the dock at summer camp 15 years ago. And then Kylie’s family moved and she ghosted him a few on the later. But then he started dating Amber, who became his wife and mother to their daughter, Harriet. It was a wonderful life until two years ago, on a cold, rainy night. Imagine his shock to see her again on the night he decides to donate the clothes worn that night. An even bigger shock—she’s IN the donation box! Kylie is having a bad time of it: dumped by her cheating ex, fires from her job thanks to said douche bag, and now stuck in a donation bin just as she’s trying to rid herself of his stuff. What else could happen? Meeting that special boy from her past who ghosted her when she had to leave her beloved hometown. But this is Love You, Maine, where love happens, sometime despite one’s best efforts. This was simply wonderful! Love You, Maine always delivers and so does Julia Kent.

This is Love You Again, book 2 of the Love You, Maine series written by Julia Kent. Luview Maine is a wonderful little town where love and romance are always front and center, so much so that the towns colors are red, white and pink. It's a small town where everybody knows everybody and is also always talking about everybody... or even placing betting pools on how long it will take a couple to become a couple. Kylie is rescued by Luke Luview and their amazing story from childhood continues.... or at least tries. This book is very funny, filled with outrageous situations that include fairies and lots of edible glitter, and enough sweet romance that it is able to stand next to any of Julia Kent's other books. She is one of my all-time favorite authors and will soon become yours too!

Excellent second in this newest series. This book is more serious and heartachey (now a new real word) than the first, yet so much humor and laughs included, it touched my heart. One of my favorites from this book: “She threw a kitchen towel at him. Jester jumped up, snatched it in his teeth, and made off for his dog bed like he’d killed a bird in mid-air, eyes cutting over to Luke in triumph. See? I protected you, a mere human, from certain death, those eyes said. Give me a treat.” And there are a plethora of these. Grab this or add it to your TBR list, an excellent fun read.
