Description

A Star-Crossed Billionaire Romance Where Old Feuds Collide with New Desire

Paisley Grove and Hercules Lord were never meant to fall in love.

Their families have spent decades locked in legal war over a revolutionary tech breakthrough. Their names are synonymous with rival empires. And their future was written in court documents and inheritance clauses long before either of them had a say.

But none of that mattered the night they reconnected.

Years after a high school crush neither dared act on, Paisley and Hercules meet again at an engagement party neither planned to attend. The attraction is instant. The history is impossible to ignore. And one impulsive night sets off a chain reaction neither of them can walk away from.

He's the heir to a collapsing tech dynasty, bound by a ruthless contract to marry someone else. She's the strategic brain behind her family's billion-dollar innovation, holding the keys to a legacy her grandfather built and protected.

A single spark between them could collapse both empires—or finally unite them.

But family secrets run deep. And what begins as undeniable chemistry turns into a game of loyalty, legacy, and the question of whether love can rewrite a future built on bitterness.

Crossing the Line is a slow-burn, high-stakes billionaire romance featuring enemies-to-lovers tension, forbidden longing, tech dynasties at war, and a romance powerful enough to disrupt everything—even history.

Perfect for fans of star-crossed lovers, secret rendezvous, and emotional twists that span generations.

Could have been better, or worse. The female lead was just okay, smart but nice. The male lead was weak, manipulative and entitled. Actually, his whole family was entitled and manipulative. oh should consider that.

Characters are very wealthy and seemed contrived. Impossible to relate to the lifestyle described

Fun, plot twists, entertaining. The characters love is fairy tale that we all wish for.

First, the positive: there isn’t the usual trope of not telling the other what they’re thinking or feeling. But then there are the negatives: plot development is minimal; the heroine makes a big deal out of the “girl code” but then ignores it; the reader is kept in the dark about certain pertinent facts, even when coming to the resolution of the ‘problem’; there needed to be a proofreader to catch errors in both continuity and grammar. All in all, could have been a really good story, if it had been better developed — might have been a rushed first attempt that would have been better served by some polishing.

Story started out ok then mixed a fairytale into it and wrecked it. It was so bad I couldn’t finish the final chapter. Forced marriages of cousins to preserve trust funds. Really immature writing.
