I have not fallen in love with a book in several years! This one captured my heart almost from the very beginning. The strong, witty characters helped bring the story to life. I will be rereading this book again!

It’s not often that I find a book that grabs me and won’t let go, but this was the book. Do yourself a favor and read it … and enjoy!

I picked up this book on a whim and from seeing clips of the movie/series which I definitely want to watch and compare but the book itself is an amazing tale with just enough mystery to keep my marble brain from getting bored. I adore all the characters and just everything overall, 6:30 is definitely my favorite tho

Ohhh this book. It makes you feel good on the inside. There were so many things to love. The characters were well built and the story was well told. I also really enjoyed hearing the internal dialogue of baby Mad and Six Thirty.

Best book I've read in a very long time. Loved the characters and the truth they told- how women are still so undervalued in our society. Some parts, hilariously funny- I laughed so hard I cried. Where is her next book- I need it?!
  • Must read for aspiring women everywhere

I’ve read it three times and this won’t be my last. It’s a beautiful story, funny, frustrating, heart breaking and too many other emotions to mention. It gives great depth and insight into the women’s movement that erupted shortly after the story’s timeline. Elizabeth (the main character) is so full of depth and astonishing resilience that she became instantly a mentor. Even as a reader I believe in myself because I know she would’ve believed in me.
