Description

Crossing paths with the beautiful Justina is a mistake waiting to happen.

Prince Roderic hates the diplomacy demanded of his position as a cat-shifter royal. As the son of a diplomat, he’s all too familiar with the treaty surrounding the Federation military occupation, Shelter City. The shifters can’t simply ask them to leave, or they’d risk retaliation. Discretion is the key, which includes not getting caught mingling with those under Federation protection. So crossing paths with the beautiful Justina is a mistake waiting to happen. She’s frustrating and rash and doesn’t mind drawing attention to herself. But, as fate would have it, she’s also the one woman he wants to call his own.

For decades they have dealt with lies and deceit, but when the humanoid population under the Federation’s control begins hunting shifters out of desperation, he knows things have gone too far. It’s time to drive the Federation off his planet once and for all, even if that means losing his one chance at true love.

This was a wonderful story that I enjoyed reading. It was captivating and grab me from the very first page and kept my interest from beginning to end. It’s a fast paced action packed story of Roderic and Justina. It’s a good evil versus good story with a great ending that I highly recommend. It’s been awhile since I’ve read the beginning of this universe. Reading the continuation stories to cover their children as well. Prince Roderic liked his world just as it is. He liked to be Feral, and wild. Meeting Justina out of the blue- changed his world.. Seeing how they interact- Justina is not impressed by him- and intent on leaving him behind and getting on with her life- such as it was. It’s always great to see these worlds and couples again

Feral Prince: A Qurilixen World Novel (Qurilixen World Lords Book 3)-Michelle Pillow This refreshing series that is a continuation of the Qurilixen world takes us to another of the next generation, the son of Prince Quinn and Princess Tori, Roderick. He is a Var prince which means he shifts into a large dangerous feline. Roderick and several other of his generation are determined to assist the humanoids being held in Shelter City under subhuman conditions. He runs into Justina who is trying to get Flora out of the city and his Draig friend Jaxx. There is a lot of politics, danger, emotional upset over the plight of the citizens of Shelter City, but the chemistry between Roderick and Justina is strong and helps drive the story. Hopefully future books in the series find a solution to the grim Shelter City problem and the evil that holds them hostage. I miss the whole special night and glowing crystals that the Draig relied on to find their mates and the special bonds the Var formed when finding theirs. There is a lot of action, suspense, in this journey that despite the bleak conditions stresses loyalty, friendship, love and hope.

Michelle Pillow never fails to impress me with her talent! I feel like I have walked through a portal and arrived on Qurilixen! The royals are still working to figure out a way to get relief to the residents of Shelter City without breaking a treaty that would mean giving up their planet. I loved meeting Justina and watching a friendship and a love develop between her and Roderick. The action and adventure continues! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I loved this book as I love all of Michelle M Pillows books! I never thought this genre would be for me, but when you put shifters in the mix, well now, I can’t be helped and I couldn’t put it down! In a sense it reminded me of a futuristic Cinderella story. I thought it to be very nicely written. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Feral Prince is the third book in the Qurilixen Lords series by Michelle M. Pillow. I love the planet Qurilixen! This was a refreshing book to be back with the Var and the Draig. This is about the time line that both the Var and the Draig are united. They have offered refuge of Cysgodians, who were affected by a deadly virus. The sun in Qurilixen is supposedly helping them recover, so they are living in the area called Shelter City. Run by the Federation, the citizens of the Var and the Draig is not allowed to interfere unless they are prepared to accept a negotiation with the Federation. Prince Roderick loves being in the wild more than he likes being in the palace, but as a prince, he is obligated to do many things such as being a diplomat. While out in his shifted form, he runs into Justina, who is trying to get Fiora out of Shelter City. After helping Fiora, he learns that his friend Jaxx is still stuck in Shelter City. So he goes back in a journey to find him. Not only that, he is curious about Justina too. This was different from the other books and it was so refreshing. The chemistry between Roderick and Justina was off the charts. There was a lot of action and mystery yet there was friendship and romance in it too. I cannot get enough of this series! Michelle, you always blow my mind! I loved this book! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Dramatic, suspenseful, with twists and turns, Justinian, and Roderic are in a fight for change. An interesting story that has different kinds of shifters ready for a fight against the Federation. I voluntarily reviewed a free advance reader copy of this book and gave my honest opinion.

Justina will do anything to protect her people as will Roderick. They fall in love but are afraid that their love will cause a war. When Justina is captured by the Federation Roderic is planning to rescue her. It becomes a moot point when they let her go free. He talked her into letting them test her and found the Federation was lying to the people of shelter city. They both must decide if their love is more important than thousands of lives. I love this series by Michelle M. pillow. I could not put down this book down and stayed up way too late reading it. I received a free copy of this book by book spout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
  • Tense and exciting!

This book was exciting from page 1. Prince Roderick, a Var cat shifter, is awakened from a deep sleep in the forest by the scent of blood. Instantly alert and shifted into his cougar form, he tracks the scent. He finds Justina, a Cysgodian woman who normally is just trying to live from one day to the next and maybe make life a bit easier for her neighbors. The result of their chance meeting could spell chaos and heartache or hope, love and healing. - or maybe a bit of each. This story is very tense, portrays the female characters as strong, intelligent, and resourceful, and brings in well-liked characters from previous books in the series. If you like exciting fantasy with strong themes of loyalty, perseverance, and justice, with likeable characters and a bit of steamy romance, you’ll enjoy this book You'll enjoy it even more if you read the previous two books of this series to get the back story on some of the characters featured here.
  • The next generation of Qurilixen Royals is as good as the first

The meet cute between Roderic and Justina is priceless. Instant attraction be damned these two have responsibilities that come first, after that the action is non stop. I always feel transported when reading the Qurilixen stories and even though each tale stands alone I love reading the sub series's in order. Shelter City and the plight of the Cysgodians has weighed on the Draig and Var’s conscious, their honor and integrity remind me of knights of old. Will Roderic lose his mate before he even has her or will Justina be just the catalyst needed to end the Cysgodian’s suffering. Great read set in a “world” I love to visit. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
