Shopping for a CEO’s Baby is book 16 (!!!) in the shopping series which seemed daunting for me since I’ve only read one other book in this series before picking this up. But I dove in almost blindly and don’t regret it at all. I loved this story and never felt like I was lost or missing out by not having read all the previous books. (But I might have to go back and read the others anyway to see if they are as good as this one!)
In this book Andrew and Amanda have to navigate expecting twins, and juggling their work, married life, family, and friends.
“When your husband’s “mistress” is his job, though, you’re “lucky.” Lucky to be married to a CEO. A billionaire. A “hot man.” A success.”
I expected this story to be funny and it really was, but it also was so much more than just humorous. It was also sweet, heartwarming, and emotional.

All of the books in Julia Kent’s Shopping series deliver lots of laughs while simultaneously pulling at your heart strings. Shopping for a CEO’s Baby is certainly no exception. In fact, if you don’t smile or outright chuckle while reading this book, you might want to check that your sense of humor is still intact. I personally found that this particular book hit me in the feels even more than some of the other books in the series, and that’s saying something. Julia Kent exquisitely details the exciting, overwhelming, funny, and sometimes downright terrifying journey from that of husband and wife to mother and father. She does a wonderful job of cataloguing the joys and the fears brought on by impending parenthood, as told from the viewpoints of both mother and father—Amanda and Andrew, in this case. And I have to say, the glimpse into the mind of an expectant father was truly eye opening and heartwarming.
I am the proud mother of a nearly twenty-year-old son, and this book took me right back to the time when I was expecting him. My heart was so full reading this book. When it comes to parenthood—impending or otherwise—the struggle is real. But you won’t find another book that so beautifully and accurately details that struggle… but more importantly, the all-encompassing and unconditional love that drives it. I honestly could not recommend this book highly enough. I absolutely adored this story!
Twins with a side of humor are coming!

Billionaire Andrew McCormick has done it! The little brother is surpassing his big brothers by...having twins! Well, his wife, Amanda is having the twins, but hey, he helped create them too! Julia has done it again as we follow Amanda and Andrew’s journey into parenthood xs 2! Julia has an incredible way and making her characters real people that you feel like you know and are friends with! You feel what Andrew and Amanda are feeling- their excitement, their fear. This was another wonderful story in the Shopping series! I cannot recommend this series enough!! You will fall in love with these crazy characters, Chuckles included!! I am ready for the next book please, Julia!
Look out! Here comes the babies!

This is Shopping For a CEO’s Baby written by Julia Kent. I LOVE this entire series and all of the characters that Ms Kent has created. Do yourself a favor and go back and start with book 1. I promise that you WILL NOT be disappointed. Andrew and Amanda are preparing for the birth of their twins and trying to manage all of the curveballs that life keeps throwing them. Get ready to search for lots of yummy or gross orange treats before you are done. Lol. Enjoy!
Don’t miss this one, so much fun.

This is my favorite book in this series. All of these books are standalone reads and all are fun, wonderful reads. This story made me laugh out loud and tear up in more than a few places. The cake chapter is hilarious and the sweet ending, well, is just that sweet and heart warming. Don’t miss this one, add it now to your TBR list.

Every new addition to the Shopping series blows me away. I go into thinking solid rom-com and end up a sobbing mess when the angst comes into play.
Watching this series grow and seeing how much change has come to these families warms my heart every single time. Andrew and Amanda taking on this new journey of being parents (to twins!!) is both hilarious and a little overwhelming.
I have no idea what else is going to be in store for the McCormick clan but I am definitely here for it.

What an amazing book! I absolutely loved being part of Amanda & Andrew’s journey into parenthood. I love how realistic their struggles were, even though they have money to ‘fix’ most things. These characters & their stories are a welcome distraction!

I’m in love with this book! As Andrew and Amanda prepare for the arrival of their twins, family dynamics come to the forefront. They are becoming parents and that means their parents are becoming grandparents and his brothers and Shannon are becoming uncles and an aunt. Things shift and change when a child arrives, but when there are two? As they welcome parenthood, both of them ponder how they will be as parents, Andrew in particular contemplates how different from his father he wishes to be. So much love, laughter and Cheetos in this!
