Description

Warm Italian sunshine casts long shadows…

In the sleepy Italian village of Santa Lucia, espresso-serving Chiara has always been the one to turn to for the juiciest gossip. But when secrets hidden in the heart of the village start to unravel, Chiara finds herself in the middle of a brewing conflict that could threaten the lives of everyone in the town.

As romances blossom and tensions rise, Chiara soon finds that not all secrets are meant to stay hidden. Will the exploding revelations prove deadly?

Santa Lucia is the gripping story of a town on the brink of change and the villagers that call it home.

"Santa Lucia is a wonderful, sprawling, satisfying novel....This was my favorite novel of 2017."

"One of those books that keeps you awake at night reading. Loved the characters and the story."

"Santa Lucia brings small town Italy to life!"

Why do writers feel the need to take my Lord and Saviors name in vain. The book started out as an interesting read but I will never read this author again.

Lovely characters & a story that weaves around the town, and each of them.

I love Italy so the title of the book is the reason I read it. Interesting characters.

Small towns are the same everywhere. On the surface everything seems happy and benign. Scratch the surface and the hidden ugliness begins to appear. Like trying to blame the gays or the Muslims for the fire. Patrizia was right, why didn’t others stand up to the bully. All towns have their kind people as well as the not so kind and many of your characters were kind. Thank you for trying to describe this beautiful town and it’s rich history. G

What a lovely story. So many lives intertwined in a small village in Italy. Love stories...lives and families in disarray caused by sad secrets...deceptions some mean and serious and some just to save face. I loved the complexities of personalities and how the people grew during a tragedy. I recommend this book and look forward to reading more books by this author.
