Description

This book is a documentary of bad things that happen when law enforcement goes AWOL and good people are silent. Based on true events in San Luis Obispo, California, covering over 15 years. Most of the information can be found in the archives of various daily newspapers, on blogs, and the Internet, but not in this condensed version. It is portrayed as an interview between an investigative reporter and the author, who has lived in the County for over 40 years. There is a heavy message to the public at large, That it is their duty to speak out when atrocities by law enforcement occur.even at the risk of being labeled as 'radicals'. There is strong emphasis on the fact that over the period discussed, there has been almost no charges brought against the 'Entrenchibles'. Their immunity is guaranteed. The unfortunate upshot is that San Luis County is probably not unique in 'bending' the laws.It may be that the 'human condition' is a universal truth. Strong language and satire throughout.
