They say that opposites attract but when it comes to Julia and Beckett, their love for hockey and having so much in common, is a winning combination for a happily ever after. Julia has spent her entire life surrounded by hockey, as the daughter of a former player who is now a coach. She understands the long practices, traveling to away games and the possibility of moving on to a new team. She is very close to her family and was thrilled to have found a job near them upon graduation. She loves her job as a physical therapist and enjoys working with her patients. Beckett has played hockey since he was a young boy and his dream was to someday play in the NHL, which came true when he was called up to play with the Indianapolis Eagles. This was what he worked for his entire career, and he was ready to give his all to the team. He misses his family in Sweden, but he can feel their love and support when he talks to them. He is proud of what he has accomplished so far, and would never do anything to jeopardize his future or his place on the ice. It was lust at first sight when Julia and Beckett met, but he felt that anything more than friendship was a bad idea. Dating the coach’s daughter was an impossibility, and a sure way of losing his spot on the team. Julia felt differently, and with her feisty attitude and persistence she was determined to breakdown the net that Beckett had put up, and convince him that they were a perfect match.
