Good read. I would have given it a 5 star if the ending hadn’t been so predictable. I very much enjoyed learning about the marshes which are not swamps. Great ecological insights...so few of these wondrous places left. Highly recommend.

Loved it, couldn’t put it down.

This is easily the best book I have read in the last few years. The pace can be a little slow at times but the read is worth the wait.

Great read.

I was immediately swept into the story from the first page. A spectacular journey of pain, loneliness, stark independence and beauty in the face of a world that can be so cruel. I sobbed reading the last line. I am always a little sad when a good book ends, but this book left my chest throbbing. Instantly one of my favorite books I’ve ever read, I’m sure each read through will be more pleasurable than the last.
