Caring for Our Piece of the Earth 1

Session 1 explores the impact of the conventional American landscape on biodiversity and ecosystems.  It also considers the role of lawns in American culture and their environmental costs such as impacts of pesticides and fertilizers, water use, and pollution. Finally, it explores how humans have “taken it all,” leaving little for wildlife – and how homeowners can make a difference.
