Description

VAMPIRE ACADEMY meets WEDNESDAY ADDAMS in this completed young adult series by USA Today Bestselling fantasy author, Kel Carpenter . . .

There's only one rule in the world I come from.
Keep our existence a secret. Period.

The day my sister broke that rule one too many times, I knew there would be consequences. I expected us to be sent to one of those schools for "troubled" kids—and maybe Daizlei Academy was, in a way. But really, it was far more complicated than that.

You see, I thought that world had forgotten me. Forgotten us. For years we were left alone, and one day . . . we weren't.

It was only when I got there that I remembered the second rule:
Trust no one.

Because in our world? They would kill me if they knew the truth of what I am.

Daizlei Academy is a school for Supernaturals.

And me? I'm so much more.

*Author's Note: This is a mature young adult urban fantasy that borders on new adult. It is labeled YA(+) for strong language and mature situations. As the heroine grows so does the content of the stories. Fans of Jaymin Eve, Jennifer L. Armentrout, Tracy Wolff, and Bianca Scardoni will ensnared by the slow-burn romance and strong heroine in this series.*

The beginning is kind of boring it doesn’t grab your attention really in my case until you get to Selena and her sisters settling in to Daizlei Academy but after reading the entire series I can tell you I found myself craving more after the end of each book leading to me reading them all in 3 days and unlike many writers Kel Carpenter gave us an ending that wasn’t completely devastating and actually helped ease the loss you feel when you reach the finale of so good book series

The first couple chapters were terrible I could hardly get past that almost quit the book but I thought well maybe it might get better and yes it did once the girls got in school then it started to get better. The ending was good But I would like to continue the story like always
  • Surprised me, in a good way

Was not expecting to enjoy it as much as I did. If u can get past the main characters’ self-centeredness and keep in mind her age, you’re in for a good ride.
