this books was SO good. the characters were fully developed and i fell in love with them from the start. sophie jordan is a phenomenal author. this is a must read. you won’t be disappointed.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book, the prequels to this one are just as good. I was really excited to read Marcus’ story. He didn’t disappoint. The Duke first makes his appearance in Scandal of it all and While the duke was sleeping.

Thoroughly enjoyed it. A proud, educated but poor woman auctioned off in a village square and bid on and won by a duke.

For such an unusual beginning for the characters Alysa and Marcus, the story is excellent! Two people who meet and one is a rescue. Read how a duke who is running from the present meets a young lady trying to move on will get to know one another and carve a life together! I highly recommend this book!
