Description

Can a woman actually make you feel like you're losing your damn mind?

Yes.

If she is Corina Miller.

The only woman who has ever made me long for something more, and let me tell you, that has me all kinds of messed up. After months of ignoring my feelings, it's clear to me I've fallen for those piercing blue eyes and sexy smile.

But is it too late?

Have I pushed her into the arms of someone else?

Hell no am I letting that happen.

I'm on a mission to win the heart of the only woman I've ever cared about—and the only thing standing in my way is one stubborn and pissed off Corina.

I always did like a challenge.

Mitchell... Texas ranger, sexy, determined cowboy ... Corina, blond, blue eyed beauty, stubborn and hurt by the way Mitchell left after they finally gave into to the sexual tension that was felt between them both... but as Corina began allowing her heart to fall quickly for the one night stand kinda cowboy... Mitch had found himself feeling things he never felt before, nor did he understand. Instead of sticking around to understand it better, he ran just as he always had before... they started as friends, but sex changed it all... will Corina open her heart to trust that Mitchell can and will be the man she wants and needs, is Mitchell strong enough to meet Corinas stubborn ways head on and earn her trust and so much more? Heartfelt story, you’ll fall in love with another Parker brother, get updates on the rest of the family, and you’ll smile at the end. Loved reading about this couple! Read in one day one night #readinonenight #worththeread

I really enjoyed this read!!! Between the sexy Mitchell, who couldn’t quite get things right after he screwed up with the one woman he truly loved, to Corina, who couldn’t let her heart be hurt anymore, this book was just what I needed. I did get a little annoyed with Corina and her not getting over a few things, but it added the perfect amount of drama to the book. I enjoyed catching up with some of the previous characters, and loved their interfering ways. A perfect addition to this series, that I would definitely recommend one clicking!!

I have been hooked on this series from the very first book. I was ready for Mitchell and Corina's story and this didn't disappoint. This book was a bit more serious than I anticipated at times, but the love story unfolds beautifully. Tempting Love had me smiling and sighing in the end. Corina Miller is a super sweet elementary school teacher and the best friend of a character from a previous book in this series, Paxton. She's funny, kind and loyal. There's a touch of innocence to her that I appreciated. She's a little different from the Parker women but she fits in with them perfectly. I went into this book expecting to like Mitchell but not love him. He had a lot of things to prove to me (and Corina) in order for me to get on board with him. However, he absolutely lived up to the challenge. Mitchell grew up in this book for me. What I loved about it is that he grew up at his own pace. If I had started the book and Mitchell was in the beginning how he was in the end? I would have never believed it. There is no denying that these two have a connection. It's just a matter of whether or not they're going to accept that connection and let it grow or not. I loved the progression here-from lovers, to not, to friends and more. It worked for these two. Once they finally reconnected? Holy wow, the steam meter was off the charts. The supporting characters in this book were fun. I love the Parker clan and enjoy spending time with all of them. Now, there were some other characters I didn't love-I'm looking at you Lance lol, but they were all necessary for the storyline. They helped Mitchell and Corina see what they both wanted. I enjoyed the writing of this book. I love the small town setting; I think Kelly Elliot nails what it's like living in a small town and having everyone know your business. The pacing worked for me as well. There was something that didn't get resolved for me in the book; it was something that just kind of got glossed over and I wanted a little more than a gloss over. Yes, I know that's vague but I don't want to spoil anything either. I truly enjoyed this installment in the Cowboys and Angels series and look forward to the next book in the series. I recommend this title!
  • Mitchell Parker is More Than Tempted by Corina Miller

I adore the Parker family, and each and every time Kelly Elliott puts the right person in one of the Parker sibling’s paths, readers can anticipate the push and pull that’s going to happen between the hero and heroine, regardless of how opposed to commitment and relationships one or the other might be and we can also expect the other Parkers to do whatever they can to allow their sibling to have the happily ever after that s/he deserves. Book Three is Mitchell’s story and Tempting Love is the perfect title for what occurs after he spends one night/morning with Corina Miller because regardless of his less than gentlemanly actions after their encounter, Mitchell can’t get Corina out of his head and for the next six months despite his best effort to resume his normal routine when it comes to the fairer sex, he can’t escape his feelings for Corina…too bad he might have already crashed and burned without really trying to woo or win Corina’s heart. Corina is a heroine who readers can relate to, especially those readers who have given their heart to someone and watched him destroy it with insensitive behavior. Corina was invested in building something with Mitchell from the start, but their one night together and his subsequent actions after forced her to attempt to move on from her deep feelings for him, which means when he finally does come around, she’ll have to determine if she’s willing to give Mitchell a second chance when he’s already broken her heart one time too many. The fact that Mitchell has to work for another chance with Corina proves the kind of woman she is and the type of man she deserves and while she puts Mitchell through his paces, it’s also clear just how much she wants to give into her feelings for him even though she’s still recovering from the first time he broke her heart, and as mad as I was at Mitchell for his callous and clueless behavior after his night with Corina, he proves himself to her and to readers when he goes all in, working to win Corina’s heart one woo and one seduction at a time. I love the world and characters that Kelly Elliott has created in her Cowboys & Angels’ series. I feel like I’m an honorary resident of Oak Springs and a part of the Parker clan. The Parker siblings work their magic in Tempting Love and prove just how amazing and somewhat obnoxious it is to have a big, close family where there’s no privacy and people aren’t afraid to call other people out on their behavior and actions regardless of the fact that it just might be none of their business! I do have to admit that the ending seemed like it was going at warp speed when it came to Corina and Mitchell’s relationship, which made me question why everything needed to happen as quickly as it does, but regardless of my concern about the conclusion of the story, I enjoyed my time spent with the Parkers and I can’t wait to see what happens to one Parker in particular now that Harley Carbajal is back in town. 4 Poison Apples (The Fairest of All Book Reviews)
